| Oh my goodness. Do you have any idea how long its been since I've written anything on here? Wow. I don't even know. Well, I'm about to graduate from college in 13 days. Man, that's nuts. After I graduate I'm going to enjoy some vacation time and go to St. Pete and Portsmouth. Eventually, I'll end up in Atlanta getting ready to start my first job. WOW. I'm so excited!!!!!!! This is all for now...I need to go get some homework done before its too late. Have a good one. Perhaps I'll try to update a little bit more than I have... Mel | | |
| Hey, all! This just seems to be the easiest way to catch everyone up. So, the date tonight. It went very well. He picked me up and held the umbrella - even though he's like 1200 feet tall so I was getting drenched by him holding it. haha, oh well. So, we get to the place and we eat. Then, we were going to watch The Office - the Christmas episode from season 3. Well, we get about 1/2 way into it and the screen stops working. It turns off. The sound worked but the visuals didn't. So, they turned on some music. The guys' RA stood up and said, "At Asbury we're allowed to dance if its celebratory. We're celebrating Jesus' birth at our Christmas party. Let's dance!" So, we had a dance party for about 3 hours. It was good fun. My date wasn't the greatest dancer - but then again neither am I. It was a good night. :) I'm happy. Mel | | |
| I know I shouldn't have e-mailed him, but I did. Why can't people grow up? Honestly, what is the attraction of acting like you're 2 years old? Less responsibility, lack of control, stupidity? I'm just fed up with people who can't act their age. By no means am I perfect at this yet because I still act like a kid half the time, but I know when its OK to and not. I just choose to not do so. But some people are just ridiculous. Why do I let them bother me? Why do I allow them to tick me off? Do they ever get to the point where they realize what they're doing is juvenile and senseless? Why can't people take responsibility for their actions? How do you get people to that point? Is there anything I can do? Pray for me? Pray for a HUGE personal request. Thanks. | | |
| Religious bovine! (Holy cow!) I haven't updated in...forever! Man, life has been completely insane. I don't have the time to even be updating now. I'm so far behind in everything. This last weekend was the SASF's Ministry Weekend to Charleston, WV. It was a great time! I really enjoyed myself and the people responded very well to what we came to do. It was great to see the Richmond's, too. They are seriously amazing people. And he may have offered me a job. Hmm. Yes. Well, what does this month have to offer? A million and one papers and Thanksgiving break. We've only got about a week and 1/2 until I fly home for Thanksgiving. Whew. I just have to make it until then. That's all. 1 1/2 weeks. Let's hope I can do it. Your prayers would be GREATLY appreciated like you wouldn't believe; just for the strength and endurance to make it to the end, perserverance. I feel like I'm sinking in quicksand. I just can't stay on top of stuff. Wow. Well, I'm out for tonight. Leave me some brilliant comments!! love you all! Mel | | |
